## Modeline detection lane
- Portable branch: `githubsucks/modeline-detection`
- Framing head: `47a7f4c`
- Base: canonical `main` @ `d5d9b9c`.
- State: `docs/modeline-detection-framing.md` Revision 1 is a review draft;
there is no implementation. It frames bounded Emacs/Vim parsing, explicit
precedence over inferred language, alias normalization, and one pinned
language decision shared by syntax, LSP, and initial major mode.
- Next step: user review. Revise the framing until approved before
implementation.
