Framing for the editops pack: goto-line, case ops, transpose,
zap-to-char (kill-chain member with origin guard + pending-prompt
marker), line move/duplicate/join, region sort/reverse/dedupe, and
delete-trailing-whitespace with opt-in trim-on-save. Five review
revisions recorded in the doc; approved to branch at revision 4,
revision 5 adopts the reviewer's optional commit_kill_prompt
hardening.
