Store a detected major mode on each buffer and expose it through Lua. Resolve mode-scoped bindings in dispatch, describe-key, and help links, including exact encoded mode context after entering the help buffer. Initialize modes once at buffer load, preserve explicit overrides and clears across switches, and publish the mode through a per-window statusline provider. Add daemon acceptance for the complete mode lifecycle. |
